3 Peaks 3 Pots under 24 hours

Not many high peaks around charterhouse though (325m). Who wants to take up the challenge of working it out for scottieland?
 
Well the immediate thought would be claonite, I make Rana about 110-120m maybe down to claonite 8. Accuracy doesn't matter since nothing else comes much close according to gsg database. (Mines excepted),
peak down to pot is a different thing, I'd be tempted to use a sea cave to get the full height of a nearby hill.
 
Presumably the deepest you could get would actually be a mine, probably involving diving

Could just stick to highest mountain then deepest cave - that would be a mission

For Wales there are two obvious candidates, OFD & fan gyhirych (725m), DYO & fan brycheiniog (802m), which would make a stunning walk. Darren, Aggie and draenan are all on a much smaller plateau - although you could do one (all 3 !) on way to pen y fan / corn du / Craig Gwaun Taf (886/873/826m), but they are well away from the caves. Little neath & fan nedd (663m) would be the other option (ignoring Tunnel as part of DYO system), or extend that to the 3 highest summits - nowhere near as clear cut as Yorkshire

I mean even in Yorkshire it's a bit artificial (although traditional which is important), because Pen-y-ghent is not the third highest hill... What's the deepest cave on Great Shunner Fell?
 
Wow that's mega, though I was not quite as fit as I am now recovering from injury when I did it, but bottoming King was tiring enough I could not imagine doing another 2 similar caves after that. Mega achievement guys!
 
Mickle fell (788m) was originally in Yorkshire, before the creation of county Durham, which has Lunehead Mine Caverns on it. Great Shunner (718m), Fossdale Beck Caves - but PyG is also a much nicer walk / looking hill / better caves (& at least the others maintain their places whichever trio you choose)

When I lived in Warton I thought about doing a more local 'Three Peaks' which could have been Arnside Knott, Warton Crag and Farleton Fell/Hutton Roof Crag. Finding an actual cave on the latter would have been a challenge.
 
OFD (top to bottom?), Snowdon, Easegill (traverse?) or a Titan / JH trip, Scafell, Ben Nevis, Uamh An Claonaite in Assynt. Cycling between them......
 
The preplanning on the Wednesday night in Derbyshire was interesting to hear. Cooked food or not, doing all the caves first then ditching the kit for the run, starting Thursday night, Friday morning, Friday lunchtime, Friday dinner or Saturday morning.

Interesting to hear how it panned out.
