Members of CSCC,
The Agenda for the CSCC AGM has been published on the CSCC website.
https://cscc.org.uk/wiki/documents/start

This agenda includes the "notifications to members of the officer nominations", this is required in the CSCC constitution to be published to members before the 1st April. Apologies for the lateness of this notification.

It is intended that a newsletter will be published at the start of May. This will contain some words from the officer nominees indicating what they intend to bring to the roles.

Please Note the CSCC constitution:
5g, “Nominated representatives must present written authorisation from the Chairman or Secretary of their Member organisation at or before the beginning of each meeting.”
This AGM will be a Zoom meeting. The secretary is happy to accept an email or a physical letter from the club chairman or secretary, prior to the start of the meeting.

Regards
Frank Tully
Honorable Secretary CSCC

I'm not sure when the last contested election was in the CSCC, but great to see two nominations for Conservation and Access Officer.

Based on recent C&A reports, Graham has clearly been doing a lot of work, so very interested to hear from Wayne what he hopes to bring to the role.

I have to say, I was impressed with quality of debating at last night's CSCC AGM. Some tough ground was covered rigorously but respectfully with good participation from many club reps, who had clearly discussed matters ahead of time with their clubs and came armed with questions, proposals and voting instructions.

This was very much democracy in action. (y)
