Is there a benefit to rigging from the smaller pine tree? I've always rigged off the huge ash directly above the re-belay

As the CNCC page for Alum Pot says the ashes should not be trusted for belays, due to Ash Dieback.

Here's a photo of what it's done to the ashes above the Nature Trail and just below Trow Gill on the way up to Gaping Gill
