Argh Scurion again!

Now it's not turning on at all!

Battery appears to be fully charged according to the charger. There's 7.5V across it, which sounds about right.
Connect battery to light, nothing.

It had been left connected and charged in travel mode. Didn't respond to the normal wake-up signals. I've disconnected and reconnected the battery which should 'reset' it out of this mode. But still nothing.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Is 7.5v what would be expected from a fully-charged Scurion pack?
That's kind-of what I'd normally expect from a half-empty 2s lithium pack.

Any voltage-related wisdom from Scruion owners?

How long did you disconnect the battery for (is there some recommended minimum time)?

If a Scurion battery is 2 cells, then it will be about 7.5volts when reasonably charged. Empty would be about 6.5 volts.

Certainly, 7.5V doesn't seem to be empty to the point of explaining a lamp not doing anything, but it's interesting if that's what a fully-charged pack voltage is*, given the typical voltage range of Li-Ion cells between full charge and and effectively-empty.
(*or, at least the voltage of a pack a charger considers not in need of any charging)

That said, I don't know the details of Scurion battery pack protection circuits, and I suppose it's worth trying the lamp with a different battery pack and vice versa, if that is practical to arrange, to at least rule out any possible battery issues.

My smart charger shows over 8v for fully charged battery. The scurions are a pack of 4 cells, looking on the Scurion forum I think the nominal is 8.4v.
