Bagshaw Glory Hole 🕳️ In Situe Chain Broke Today.

FYI. The Chain Leading down the Glory Hole in Bagshaw broke today. The first part of the climb up and out of it has nothing to pull on now.

We're gonna replace that chain. Leave it to us. I'll buy some today.

That chain wasn’t there until relatively recently and then one day it was. I’d question if it’s necessary and consider removing the remains of it instead. I can’t imagine stainless chain is cheap to replace

I don't know who installed it, but it's been there all the time I've been caving there.

We use it on the regular, and value its presence. The chain is en-route to the cave, and the current plan is to replace it tomorrow. Will confirm here, once it's fully reinstalled.
