Barbon Pot

I had a walk around Barbondale this afternoon and looking at the Barbon Pot entrance, it seems completely blocked. There are four large trees that I assume were recently vertical, that are now horizontal and completely covering the hole. Has it been like this for a while does anyone know, or is it from the recent storms?

Rachel's photos. I had to resize them down to avoid the security checks.

There are a vast number of trees down across the NW from when we had that north wind. Don?t know what it was like elsewhere but the hills and valleys have echoed to the sound of chainsaws ever since. We have seen many thousands of big trees lying flat everywhere we go, many of them 100+ years old at least.

Lost one in our garden, which goes to show since it was sheltered by the house to quite some extent,
