Tonight (23-01-22) BBC Countryfile was mostly about mining after effects and rehabilitation. Quite interesting if you can see a repeat or get it on the web

Yes mainly about Dawden pit ,went down there when it was working and went
six miles out under the sea. There is another six miles of coal that they have left behind !
