BCA Membership Fees for 2026

BCA Membership

Well-known member
BCA membership fees for 2026 have now been agreed, and all members should have had an email to communicate these.

They are increasing, in order to continue to support and improve British Caving.

Details of the 2026 fees, and how membership fees are used to support British Caving and why an increase in fees is needed, can be found on the BCA website.
BCA membership fees 2026

You may wonder why I have chosen this photo to illustrate a fee increase....
Well firstly it is because it shows a happy caver, enjoying some British Caving.
But it also illustrates some of the ways BCA supports British Caving.
The photo features a student member of BCA enjoying Cussey Pot, in the Peak District.
BCA provides membership for students at less than half the usual price, to support and encourage student caving.
Cussey Pot was discovered in October 2020 and the BCA PL insurance policy helped to negotiate access for cavers with the landowner.
Finally the cave has recently been p-bolted by the Derbyshire Caving Association, who are members of the BCA national anchor scheme.

Some of you may think it is early to be announcing the 2026 fees at the start of September but several BCA member clubs run membership years that start and end in September and October, deliberately off-set from the BCA calendar year, so they can collect BCA subs in good time.
Hopefully giving members and clubs early warning of these increases will enable members to plan for them, and clubs to adjust their subs as needed.
