I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets frustrated by the usual neoprene cements not sticking very well and gradually peeling apart after investing time in careful repairs, even when thorough cleaning with solvent has been done. This is especially a problem with high strain areas such as wrist seals on semi-dry suits and neoprene drysuit seals.
The solution I found is to use Bostik 2402 Adhesive, which I believe is what is often in commercial use for neoprene garment construction. This two part cement is far superior to "straight from the tube" options. I've normally got mine by mail order from Lomo, who are very good. https://www.lomo.co.uk/products/bostik-2402-2-part-adhesive/
But there is a problem; no matter how firmly the cap on the 10 ml bottle of "Bostikure D10 Hardener" is replaced, the contents have a habit of evaporating and leaving the bottle dry, long before the main cement is used up.
The solution I've found is to buy "Bostikure D200 Hardener" by mail order from Adhesive Supply Company Limited in larger quantities. They're based at Redditch in Wocestershire and I've found them to be an excellent company to deal with; always really helpful. (The "200" in the name merely indicates the 200 ml container size; it's the same product.) The larger bottle has a decent plastic seal, rather than the silvered cardboard seal in the 10 ml bottle. Here's the link: https://www.adsupply.co.uk/product/bostik-d-200ml-curing-agent/
I hope this information helps at least a few fellow cavers.
