Box Mine

I know that getting into Box mine is pretty much none existent at the moment unless you know about 'the' secret entrance that those who know about it are guarding this piece of information like it's rocking horse shit.

For those like me who don't know and want to know I thought it would be fun getting a post together for those currently searching for it so we can share ideas.

Now I've been looking for it recently and I did find a couple ungated entrances at the backdoor but 2 don't go in anywhere and the 3rd I need to go back and check as it looks like it could go somewhere. Although looking at the survey maps I don't think it would go anywhere. The other place I need to go check is Henry's hole in the back garden of 4 tynings but that might be tricky. I've seen a few people mention buntings and one guy as recently as 2022 posted a thread on another forum stating he started from jack's entrance and went through rems crawl and through the b12s which is on the south survey map. There is also a video on YouTube of a guy starting out near a buntings shaft and in the first 5 mins ends up at black horse road which is relatively close to jack's entrance. So I'm fairly certain there is a secret entrance in the woods some where. But all the main entrances in the woods are 100% gated. I've checked twice. So there has got to be a hole somewhere unsurveyed or ungated.

If you did find another entrance, then posted about it very publicly like this, don't you think it'd get shut down and ruin it for everyone.
I don't like the secrecy keep it to yourself approach, but isn't this a good example of something that should be kept at least semi discreet?

Edit: since there's no tone of voice in posts and misunderstandings happen, just to clarify my post is intended as friendly comment and not grumpy in any way. I'm just saying..

Well I think keeping the one remaining entrance a secret just means people like myself go looking for it and drawing attention to it. I don't think it's fair that only a select few get to keep going inside box mine and keeping it all to themselves. If it's meant to be permanently shut then it should be shut to everyone, not just those who don't know about the secret entrance.

Well I am going to keep looking for the secret entrance and I will keep poking the hornets nest and drawing a lot of attention in Box until I find it. If this is the sort of attention those that are secretly keeping it's location a hot secret want to create then that's fine by me.
