That was excellent! Bit off my patch but I remember Terry Jackson describing that place to me in graphic detail a very long time ago. It's great finally to see what it looks like. Out of interest, what was your overall trip time?
I was in there for 3 hours and 10 mins. I was moving pretty fast but obviously stopping to make the vids and also poking about loads of places, including a 20 min diversion to the Fume Room. So it's not silly long, but it does feel pretty relentless.
I seem to recall rootling up to the left just after the mud sump section in a short mined area, if its findable again, it might indicate an alternative entrance to extend the access season?.

There is a small swallet to the right of the footpath as you head past One Ash Grange farm towards the steps descending into Cales Dale. Has this been tested? Be interesting to see the survey overlaid onto OS Maps or Google. I would have imagined the swallet is fairly close to the Fume Room in my mind. Potentially another way in anyhow?
I doubt it will open again this year now unfortunately. Whilst the sump seems to fill very quickly (it was nearly full already last night) it's the emptying that takes months and months.
The entrance was bone dry, it was bone dry past dog house, then between figure 8 and dog house pools were appearing on the left. about 20m past figure 8 chamber turning the water started proper. There's a steady flow coming in from the left and it sumped out shortly afterwards
