I'm having to substantially limit my collection of 'might come in useful one day' caving equipment. Currently offering free to a good home (well, any home, actually) is a collection of carbide generators - two titanium (one of which is unused) and a plastic (Ariane) with deep and shallow bases. First person who contacts me with a definite plan and date for them to be taken away gets the goods. It needs to be gone in no more than two weeks, and preferably sooner.
These are, of course, more curios than practical lighting these days, but I don't see me ever using them again and I haven't got a mantlepiece to display them on. If no one takes this lot then it's going to be weighed in for scrap, so please bid early and often (as they say).
