cave photos

Hello! i am a student who really likes caves, and I am making an online horror story about a labyrinth which features some caves in it. the location the story takes place in is near charterhouse warren farm shaft, and this cave is also important to the story, but i know it is not somewhere you can go in because of its archaeological importance, so im interested in any other nearby caves/swallets/underground thingies, especially any with a bit of water in them.
basically i have 2 requests -
1. as an 18 year old novice to caving who has only gone to 2 caves, is there anywhere (underground, that is) in the vicinity id be allowed to go into alone?
2) if not, do any of you have any photos from inside caves in the area that you would be ok with me using for my project, which have no people in them and have not been posted on the internet before? i would credit you!!! im not looking for high quality "professional" looking photos, photos that youve taken quickly on your phone are perfect :-D
sorry if any of these questions are stupid or don't make sense. thanks for reading !

Frustrating... where I studied didn't have a caving club and where my son is studying doesn't have one either.

Maybe not your specific request here, but there is a caving club who meet walking distance from UCL, once a month near Charring Cross station.
They do a lot of caving in S Wales where they have a hut (their regular novice friendly trips are there and you can probably car share to get there and back) and often trips to Mendips, Lakes, Peak etc.
Maybe go to a pub meet, if you think they're ultra weird then don't go back, but you could take a look https://wsg.org.uk/ to see when monthly pub meet is looking at their calendar on that site or send them a message

Mendip caving group spend a lot of time in that area, as our hut is within walking distance, although most of the shafts are actually mines, one of which we are currently digging in. Our original hut was beside the blackmoor lead flues.

How high resolution do you need? If you DM me your email I can send a few, I've not been to that many caves in that immediate area but can send some photos from nearby ish caves. I'm assuming as it's a fictional story you wouldn't name the locations of the specific photos ?

Sad that UCL no longer has a caving club. I went to South Wales and Yorkshire with them until I formed a caving club at my medical school and even then we caved jointly. Wonder what happened to them?

Considering that Lancaster managed to lose their club, it can happen anywhere - usual SU worries over liability and needing members over 25 to drive minibuses nowadays.

Many clubs that depended on more experienced members to supervise the less experienced members ended due to COVID as when things restarted there wasn't a pool of more experienced people. If a club had low numbers they were particularly vulnerable and it was final nail.
I'm told quite a few student BSAC clubs were ended by COVID too.

Interestingly " UCLCMC is UCL’s Climbing and Mountaineering Club and has been running since 1985!"

Although we seem to be getting a bit sidetracked here...

YAY thatd be awesome thanks a lot!!!! I'd not say the actual locations of the photos, I will invent a fictional cave
