Caveatron Availability and alternatives

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone had either made a caveatron unit and had any experience with sourcing parts, using it etc. Or if anyone had one lying about they wouldn't mind getting rid of (for a price of course). Also any more readily alternatives of a device capable of LiDAR scanning that may be easier to come by.

I made an attempt at starting it during lockdown but couldn't source about 5 components at all which upset the plan. Not helpful I know, but yeh unless someone's had a good look for alternative components since then, it might be a dead project

Okay ignore me completely - I've just had another look at the site and looks like the creator has put out new revisions and part lists since I was looking into it so you might have better luck now
