Good afternoon,
A plea for help from some south-western caving folk.
Some time ago I bought a job-lot of Descent back-issues on eBay from a chap in Taunton, including three rare/early ones which would nearly complete my collection. Being a twit I failed to notice that the listing was 'Collection Only', but fortunately a friend's son lives nearby so kindly picked them up for me, on the basis he could get them to me here in The Dales via his father. Nearly two years have since gone by with various failed attempts at arranging this, and my friend is now moving abroad so that line of logistics is looking much less likely.
I don't suppose any cavers in that part of the world are heading Up North any time soon? Even if someone could just pick them up and get them to a Mendip or South Wales club hut, I should be able to sort caverpost from there. Happy to express gratitude in beers or other forms of remuneration.
