... ... and if you are really muddy / undesirable there is one in the rope wash room)
I like the ambiguity, is the undesirability mentioned people in particularly muddy or unsavoury condition. Or are you saying they have a specific shower for ugly people?
It must be a delicate conversation when a member is informed they are only allowed to use the rope wash room shower

The Hub in County Fermanagh, NI, has a shower that is almost in the kitchen, as is the loo. It's a plaggy bukkit with holes drilled in hosting two bits of hose pipe one allegedly hot and the other cold. With respect to the provider of Amenities, I headed off to Blacklion.
The shower in the Hub is remarkably effective once you got the mix right. The pressure increases the fuller the bucket gets. Just remember to turn the taps off 10 mins before you finish. Admittedly, its a bit of a shock when you first spot it.🤣

Here's a snapshot of the 'works' of a shower in a Hungarian caving club hut a few years ago:

A recent experience in the Bradford Pothole Club showers has found them nice, bountiful in water, and pleasant in temperature, but utterly lacking in width of cubicle. Having even just a three-person shower comes with significant downsides: one person always has to step away from the water as the cubicle does not allow for more than two abreast. We made it work as we were also drinking shower beer so whenever someone was done rinsing their hair they could rotate to the beer drinking position, but the BPC showers, socially, have nothing on, for instance, the SWCC showers (which have the windowsill within arms reach, perfect for holding your glass of shower wine)

I'm convinced that the TSG showers are plumbed in by the gods themselves, extremely hot and extremely powerful, just what you need after a colostomy trip.

Haven't been there a while but GSG's hut at Elphin was always a good shower.

TSG showers got to be the bar by which others are judged. I think they must be from a very deep borehole heated by uranium and its daughters. Highly radioactive water is the secret warming power at TSG 🤣

I have a personal vendetta against the TSG showers as I once fell over while showering and hit the toilet with force.
