Caving Video Clips thread

Hey Stu your video with the G9 is great.
Which light/s did you use by the way?
Cheers
Nat

Hi Nat,

I used my STEN S7+ on setting 4 for the bigger walking passage (420 Lumen) and for the small crawling sections I stepped it down to setting 2 or 3.

Gladded you liked it.

Cheers

Stu.

Suppose I'd better put these up. My first attempt at filming underwater...The CDG go to Florida  :)

Florida 2009

And a trip earlier this year to France..

France 2010

Rich and I are working on some Uk cave diving footage, beginning with Buxton Water and Ink sumps in Peak.

A mate of mine, Oz, made this on the same France trip of a cave called the Emergence de Temporaire de Cregols - a little visited gem of a cave.

Cregols

My video offerings to date:

First a trip into Ogof Hesp Alyn - as far as the first sumps.

UCET - Ogof Hesp Alyn - To the First Sump

Next a trip through the sumps to the far reaches of the system.

UCET - Ogof Hesp Alyn - Into The Unknown.

Now Travel with us into the Ancient Pearl Shaft - Old lead mines.

UCET - Pearl Shaft

And finally why not do the CRTT from the comfort of your armchair?

UCET - Croesor / Rhosydd - The Through Trip.

Quite so, the references all relate to a certain well known* and vocal Mendip caver and his merry crew's Wednesday night trips.

* Know to you as well Amy.

I took a mate of mine down to sump one for her first trip below the 20 yesterday, along with a good friend, Noel Cleave.
Clare is a cave diver and dives at a very high level abroad, but has done no Uk cave diving and has only just taken up dry caving. We exchange patience in that I cave at her pace and she poses happily and without complaint while I practise my photography  ;D

I've seen sump one with airspace over the last few years in the summer, but I don't think I've seen it with this much before. What do you think?

Hi Tim,
It would seem the only code posted was:
Code:

I'm guessing the forum software did the rest.

If you hit the "quote" button you get to see the code in the quoted post (don't click on post though)  :smartass:
