Is it possible to change user name? It could get a bit confusing. However, some of us who did not use our full name (thinking it was a good idea at the time) now wish they had registered differently when starting ukcaving. I for one would like to change my user name if I am allowed.

Just don't change your signature line, otherwise no-one would know who you are.

I for one would like to change my user name if I am allowed.

But that would result in lots of threads with back-and-forth banter between contributors being highly confusing since many of them mention stuff like "Anne said...." or "I agree with Anne" etc. in a thread where Anne may continue posting but with a different username.

Ah, then Anne should be asked to put her former name under her avatar, for example the words 'formerly known here by the name of Anne', for some time, till we all get used to the new name.

.... as an example. Anne would probably just become "Fkaa" (rhymes with "Baa").
