Out of interest do you think this thing could be put to use digging through mud if you had enough water? or is there not enough power in the jet?

Funnily enough I have considered this but it really isn't powerful enough (although much more powerful than a hand pressurised spray) and the duration wouldn't be great.  A mains powered washer would be brillian in a couple of places I know. However you have made me think we could clean up Jill's Slither dig approach with it.

One of our members has built a little "jetwash" for doing just that and its worked a treat in a few digs. Its made of an aquarium pump, a washing up bowl and a 12v car battery starter.

We had another session yesterday down in Pridhamsleigh Cavern. Water levels had fallen in the Lake since last week.  The DSS took a dinghy down and gave me a photo opportunity.

Hydroshot on tour! Took it down Swildons today and started on Barne's Loop. It is making a difference. Thank you John Cooper and Lee Hawkswell
