Cobweb Chamber

[Lara_]

I fancied a bit of Easegill esoterica so took some willing victims to try to find Cobweb Chamber yesterday (at the end of the CRG extensions).

I was wondering if anyone knows anything about it beyond what’s in the RRCPC description? The cobbles there had bits of grass on them and the whole chamber felt very close to the surface. Most importantly the name is tantalising - were cobwebs actually found there?

There’s a ceiling rift that looks like it would be possible to climb into with some determination that we also wondered about. I’d love to hear if anyone has been there

I've been there, but we didn't do any excessive poking. The centre of it is under a large shakehole, about 40 metres from the beck.
