Cryptic caves

Hmmmm - no more guesses, even though I've been on hols for a fortnight! So clue time.... its in NC1 and has a 90ft pitch, but little else.

Ah... I think this must be Cow Close Pot, which I confess I'd never heard of. After consulting NC1, I can see why!

Here is a very easy one:

"Three times a cave" (allegedly) 6, 4, 4 although some prefer 6, 4, 5 and in the past a man with a candle preferred 6, 4, 6.

Come on folks, this is easy, not really very cryptic.

The clue is a description of the name of the cave, it is a very well known cave. The reference to a man with a candle points you to the area where it is found. How many cave explorers associated with candles do you know?
