• Help us work out the future of the Inglesport Café

We've been trading since 1977 and next year will be our 50th anniversary.

The café has been part of that for a long time, running quietly in the background for years, and we don't think it always gets the credit it deserves as a genuine community hub. But we need to be straight with you: the café is under real pressure, and we’re not sure of the best path forward.....

Election of Officers and Assistants

CSCC is looking for assistants to help the elected officers. It's a no pressure way to become involved. Volunteering has many benefits. First and foremost it's a way to give something back to the caving community. It broadens out your skills and knowledge. It also looks good on your CV.

There are four Zoom meetings a year. If you are interested please join the AGM meeting.

The following posts received only one nomination so the nominees are automatically elected:

Secretary - Frank Tully
Conservation & Access Officer - Wayne Starsmore
BCA Rep. - Linda Wilson
Communications Officer - Peter Burgess

The following posts received no nominations in time so will be elected from the floor. The incumbents have indicated they are willing to stand again. except for the Training Officer.

Chair
Treasurer
Equipment & Techniques Officer
IT Officer

The Training Officer's post is vacant so we are particularly keen to find a volunteer. What the role entails can be seen at https://www.cscc.org.uk/wiki/about/officers
