Cutthroat Caverns (Teesdale)

My elder brother has become keen on visiting the above, I sent him some information including the survey and a link to MSG 14, he emailed me this morning suggesting he thought the entrance was near the source of Cutthroat Sike, I'm not sure about that, I think he's about 0.7km to the east and the wrong side of the track. I've attached the OS mapping view and marked where I think the entrance is as per the survey's GR.

Does anyone know if that Moldywarps GR is correct and I've highlighted the approximate location, I know Paul Rodriques was one of the initial explorers but I don't seem to have an email for him.

I do know it can be a bit bleak up there so I would feel a bit guilty if he went on a wild goose chase and got a bit lost.

@Chris Scaife or @Alex will know exactly. If there’s a problem with the grid in MSG14 let me know - I’m currently putting MSG15 together so can add a correction or clarification if needed.

Hi Chris Curry,

Alex is happy the GR in MSG 14 is correct and gave plenty of additional info so I'll let brother know a) where to look and b) what to keep an eye out for.
