I've just found a reference suggesting there was an article in Descent 41 about Ariel Cave (also known as Blacknor Hole), Portland. Is there anyone who has a copy that can confirm this / send me details before I go about trying to track down a copy.

Thanks
Tim

I just had a quick look for you. There is a newsdesk piece called "Find at Blacknor Hole, Portland". It's not long so I'll see if I can photograph it for you.

I realise that Descent is a business, but it would be really helpful for research purposes etc if old Descents say more than 5 or 10 years old were available online, even if you needed to pay to download.

I've been digitising caving related stuff for a while. I havent done my (incomplete) Descents yet but have started on caves and caving - but it would need the publishers permission to share.

I have roughly 2000 digitised caving items (high res scans with OCR) and am going to plop them in a (offline) RAG eventually. Maybe called CaveGPT ;)
