Ease Gall water levels

Ooh handbags are flying aren't they :D , at the end of the day does it matter that much.... Lets face it, the chances of water levels you two are on about are on the whole pretty rare and very few caving trips would be taking place anywhere!

I've been down both County and Lancaster in fairly wet weather (not full flood as you two are on about) without problem - County becomes interesting/sporting and Lancaster gets a fairly damp entrance - with the obvious streamway sections out of bounds but other areas are pretty accessible.

And what about a trip in Mistral if its really wet? (Ye ok, not the grandest of places but its underground!) I went in once and the beck was dry, came out few hours later and the beck was flowing rather full past there all the way to Kirk Pot.

Voice of reason. Cheers Dunc. Anyway, I was itching for a fight to increase my profile descrption...I've been a manace for far too long. Don't know what's next but I want some.

Oi C.F. ... well I've looked and there isn't a big soggy kiss icon either!! Rubbish!!!!

just forefilling my role as moderator.
Was that really the case, or are you helping yourself along to 1000 posts!?

Ahhh.. seems to be common.. not that I'd be guilty of such underhand tactics to increase my numbers!

You made me curious on that so I went for a nosey into some dark corner of this site and found a list of all the ranks and what numbers you need to reach them.. Hmmm, I have a long way to go, anyone want a fight?

Surely the reason forums such as this are started is for people to give their opinion on the subjects raised. If you don't like the response to you comments don't post.

Menacing NO Rude YES

Would it be possible for Stu and Yellerbelly to kiss and make up just like SamT suggests... though preferably not in a flooding cave system!! Although... that might dowse their flaming carbides!! :hols:

I think the Serendipity Pitches are a good Easegill wet-weather option!! ... only kidding!

Thats the problem - opinions - it should be discussion - I gave up on uk.rec.caving due to highly opinionated know it alls on there!
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but its when people thrust their opinions on others and then can't accept the fact they may be mis-guided or incorrect that it falls down..

It would appear we are at this point because a number of statements have been read in a different way to what was originally intended and then opinions have been posted based on the way it was read.. Perhaps reading and thinking is required in some cases rather than just quick read and bash out an opinion based on what was glanced at!?

But, nah, sod it, keep it up guys, its amusing to read

I amuse you....I amuse you?? Like what some kind of clown...

bang bang...Mafia type whack!!

Actually, I think it's funny guy but that's not what you said....so I couldn't say it!

(Goodfella's if it's bugging you)

In the interest of fairness and for the sake of Sam not having to waste time making sure we children aren't causing mayhem...

I apologise if I seemed somewhat forthright. You'd think having spent two years wasting time on ukclimbing that I'd be used to the possibilities of misunderstandings and misinterpretations.

But I never said safe!!!! :p

I'm strangely compelled to keep going, but no. I relent!! Au revoir!!

Oh... but that is such a shame... you articulate yourself so well with words... I like the games you play. I think you have a few folks all hot and bothered.
