Easegill buffs for order

Hello all,

Some cavers have a fond tradition of failing to find their way from Lancaster Hole to Easegill …

To counter this I have designed a buff for RRCPC displaying the Easegill survey from Lancaster Hole to County Pot and Wretched Rabbit.

These are being made by Giraffe https://www.giraffeuk.com/, based in Leeds, who have made SWCC’s OFD buffs – which are frequently used for navigation not just fashion!

To order a buff please sign up here (or on the paper form at the farm), and pay the Red Rose bank account :

Orders for the buff are open during the Easegill Openhouse Event: Until Sun 29th

Test versions are available to view during the Easegill openhouse event.

Please consider forwarding to your clubs communication channels x

I am not at RRCPC until October but am going to Hidden Earth in Sept. Not sure caver post will get them south.

Will they be available at HE or are you prepared to hold onto them until then?

Orders are only open for the next ten days (need to do preorders) but happy to hold them to deliver at Hidden Earth if you put a note in the ‘caver post’ box

They look great, fab design.

I used to work for Buffera, official distributors of the original buff.

If yours are made by another company, I'd call them neck scarves or something similar as Buff is copyrighted or trademarked or whatever.

Anyhow, as someone who made a living selling Buff, I wanted to mention it 🙂

I understand you're using the term here like folks say hoover meaning vacuum cleaner 🙂

Are these buffs going to be tested using actual newcomers to Easegill? I suppose if they got lost they'd have a warm neck.

There more fashion/clothing than a real navigation tool, but could help you know where stop pot is relative to stake pot…

It's only a buff if it's from the buffera region, otherwise it's just a sparkling snood 🤔😁

Worth changing. Cost Leeds uni hiking club thousands a decade or so ago. Definitely worth removing the B word from all marketing and posts.

I would like to buy one at hidden earh, post a picture of your mug :) and if you post a picture of a cup, bring that to hidden earth lol.
