Eyam Dale House Cave access arrangements.

I thinking of having a look in Eyam Dale House Cave later this week but I'm not sure on current access arrangements. The Peak Caves site gives the details but doesn't mention whether you need a key or a spanner for the lid. Do you still need a key from the house for access? And does the new owner reply to your email prior to your visit or is he happy to let you onto his land on the day you specified? Any info will be most appreciated.

The owner has always replied to my emails quickly to say we were fine to go.
Take a Derbyshire key but no specific key needed.

Thanks Pipster I'd seen that but last time I went it had a really old lid and a lock the key which you got from the house. It looks like a new lid has been fitted as it's all shinny and the access isn't through the house grounds now. It doesn't however mention how to get the new lid open
Cheers Katie, I usually have one I. The car for such occasions.

no key needed, the stainless steel bar needs to be removed/replaced and can be stiff so a big screwdriver can sometimes be a help to waggle it out. 3x 6m of rope are useful for some of the climbs (2 beyond the Pearly gates)
