Found on Saturday 14th September at the end of the Masongill lane - a watch.

Thanks Mike, I had hoped to keep things quiet and handled it via a PMs to avoid embarrassment of yet another thing lost. 

Thats why I never posted that I lost it, that and I was not sure where I lost it until now. But all is well now watch is sitting happily once again on my wrist. Quite how it got on the other side of the gate is beyond me. Thanks for your honesty Rob.

I think the embarrassment stage should have passed a long time ago, it's just an accepted part of caving these days; find something lost (particularly in the north), ask Alex first, then post on UKC!
