Free tripod and a lens question

- I have a Jessops TOP318 tripod free to a good home. 35 cm long when closed up. - Dales/Leeds/Caver post
- I also have an old telephoto lens. It is screw thread fitting and about 25 cm long (no expert on these things). It was used for wildlife photography on old pentax camera bodies 45 years ago. Is it potentially of any use to anyone?

Sounds like the lens is a Pentax M42 screw thread mount. You can get adaptors to use it on modern mirrorless digital cameras. Can also use on Pentax DSLRs with an M42 to K mount adaptor.
What is written on the front of the lens? Might be something like Asahi Pentax, or Takumar or similar (or combination thereof) and 1:3.5 (numbers could well vary) and 135mm (again numbers could vary). That'll give you the info about what lens it is.
