Saw this: Beckham’s son was in a charity match and asked, "What number shirt should I wear, Dad?" David said, "Wear 4 out there, Romeo!"

Something similar happened to me as an apprentice, my bosses fags(woodbines) where under a carpet in a large ball room and I was tasked with crawling underneath it to retrieve them, on my return with fag packet in mouth they all stood around me and tacked me in for what felt like an eternity. The other irritant was the fact it was delt underlay and I was itching like a b#stard all day . Good old days
What about when every manufacturer had a different take on RS232 handshaking? Thank goodness for the Interfaker!!Never mind BNC, TNC!
Oddly I was working on DEC kit but lots of other manufacturers peripherals didn't use it. So you had to reconfigure the PDP11s ports to DTR or whatever.- And then start fiddling with the connector wiring.XON XOFF !
I can still remember a LA120 printer and "secondary request to send". Is an interfaker the same as a breakout box? What about when every manufacturer had a different take on RS232 handshaking? Thank goodness for the Interfaker!!
Yes an interfaker is a breakout box. Being a sad git, I still have one and use it occasionally...I can still remember a LA120 printer and "secondary request to send". Is an interfaker the same as a breakout box?
