Hi will seem realy odd but every year my dad's friends come over and they used to do potholing together so all very familiar with ropes.

So a few years ago I showed them a pallet that I had rigged in a tree as like a pallet elevator. I have also rigged a zipline.

Has anyone got any ideas for other projects I have 3 trees between 10 and 20 meters. A 9m lenth of semi static an 80m and a 60m have 2 pulleys and a tandem. Can anyone think of anyone I could do for next year I can always get more kit if needed. Thank you for all your help.

Possibly not quite what you're thinking of, but a number of years ago, I set up an obstacle course in the woods for my younger brother's (10th?) birthday party.

From memory (and it's quite a long time ago now!), I had a horizontal rope bridge (two ropes side by side), a vertical rope bridge (one rope above the other), a rope swing and a rope 'net' to crawl under.

The kids had lots of fun, but an older generation may not!

Thank you I have an idea if I use an old caving ladder to get up 1 tree I could rig a horizontal line for feet and another above for hands and cowtails. Then at another tree it could connef to a zip line. Will most probably need to buy myself another wc rope man my chosen line tensioning device.

Have you ever thought of getting a slackline? We normally have one set up in the garden over the summer, to start with you can hold onto somebodys shoulder as you walk along.
