getting permits

Does anyone know who to apply to for permits for leck fell and fountains fell? Is membership of BCA enough to get permits or do you have to be a member of CNCC as well? Also is there a deadline for applying for permits for the year ahead?

Both seem pretty good at checking their email, but you'll have to send them a SAE so they can send you the permit by post- you should really give at least a months notice.

However...
...Permits for the CNCC caves are only available to CLUBS, not individuals.

You need to be in a club and your club needs to be a paid up member of BCA

Don't think there is for Leck? :? I think Fountains deadline is/was near start of the year?

I emailed the people you gave me. Fountains fell permit deadline has been. No hammer pot for me
