Great to welcome Mark Richards and Ian Patrick from the CNCC - Council for the Northern Caving Community to SpanSet HQ last week! 🧗‍♂️🦇

After a tour with our MD (and fellow caver!) Peter Ward, we were pleased to provide some rope for their future training activities.

These lengths come from our industry-leading Gotcha Rescue Kits - used worldwide to rescue workers suspended in their harness. Instead of going unused, it’s brilliant to see them supporting skills and safety underground.

Always proud to stay connected with the caving community and help where we can.

Sincere thanks to Spanset, and especially MD Pete Ward, for your hospitality and the generous donation of rope.

We had a really enjoyable day and gained a great insight into a business with a lot of similarities to caving.

During the factory tour, I was like a “kid in a sweet shop” 😂.

It was clear throughout the day that your staff are very much at the heart of the business, and this made for a nice working atmosphere.

Thanks again for the ropes and for your generous support to caving in general.

Thank you SpanSet!

You just beat us to posting this on UKCaving (that was on our PR Officer's jobs list for tonight). We really appreciate your support, and your very positive comments about our training workshops.

There'll be a feature in our upcoming December newsletter too which is currently just undergoing formatting.
