Good section about the mine, if I get time I'll return to watch the whole program as it looked very interesting. Dying from silicosis in your 50s sounds grim price to pay for a job, it didn't even make them rich - noting comment that the miners' cottages had no water (or inside loo, although that bit was probably normal).

Last night there was a similar programme about Scafell Pike, so presumably also available (no mining though).
