Grotte de la Luire

Just received this link from some mates in the area. Following some early and heavy snow falls on the high plateau and subsequent thaw, the Luire has flooded (November 23rd). For those that know the cave and have been to the down stream sump at (from memory something like) -311m you can probably appreciate this dramatic event better than those that don't know the cave. For informatiom, the Luire is a huge system with some really bigh passage, which resurges at the Bournillion, unfortunately a major fault stops exploration towards the Bournillion and creates impressive floods when conditions are right...(sorry for the long link, it was a quick cut and past...)
