Anyone want to claim this very usable piece of gear found in the bottom of alum pot.

A genuine bollard! We used to press them out in the garden shed, but I think that one was made by Dave Elliot. It dates from the 1980s.

I probably dropped it in the 1980’s if you found it at the bottom of Diccan, bad habit of mine on occasion. It was def made by Elliot. I still have a dozen. Problem is finding new bolts with the right shoulder length without having to cut them.

I still use the Lizard rope washer in the stream when I need to. Same vintage.

Yeah, was in the floor near there. Glad I could learn something about it's history.
