How to offload dive gear

I have been trying to clear out stuff, and I think have to be realistic I am not using my dive gear going forward (I have never dived in the UK) and I don’t like stuff not being used. Apart from some painful process via Ebay, is there somewhere you can offload a bunch of stuff in one go? Some sort of second hand place? Most of it is in good nick if unserviced. I don’t know the ”done thing“ with this sort of safety critical stuff. Some examples:

Facebook group ‘uk scuba stuff for sale’

Has 16,000 members.

Be sure to read the rules about how to list your stuff (all priced and no offers).

You can look through the listings and get an idea of price. Half current retail price is usual for regs etc.

I have almost never bought new. So many people take up diving for 2-3 years and jack it in you can always get second hand gear. As somebody said servicing an ancient valve I brought them 'They keep inventing the wheel' meaning a 30 year old Conshelf (for example) is just as good as a brand new valve if cared for. I have a functioning Cyklon 50 years old that used to belong to my father.

Yes but you never dive below 30 metres. Try a 30 year old rig out in the shipping lanes at 80m.

Not normal scuba diving for most people reading this forum! And very very risky as you know only too well.

I never dive below 30m, or in water under 28degC, and use 32% Nitrox. I like wearing no more than shorts and t-shirt. It needs to be sunny and the water crystal clear down to 100m. There needs to be interesting fauna like humpback whales or similar to swim around with. And I have a wave and swell limit too now after some interesting times in the open ocean. And I need to be able to go every week or so to keep up to speed. My dearest other very much prefers going caving.

Morecambe Bay just doesn’t cut it.
