I popped into Illusion after work this morning and have replaced the handline on the traverse with a nice shiny new length of 10.5mm and also replaced the worst of the hangers and mallions.
The climbs into boot trapper passage are currently equipped with hand lines to make a long term diving project easier. If they could be left alone it would be appreciated.
The traverse has been “reported” to the CNCC with a view to installing some hangers but currently I’d happily use what’s in place and it makes getting along it with heavy cylinders easier so let’s not start a discussion on whether it needs a handline…
