Indoor Training Facility

Does anyone know of an indoor location in the Bristol/Mendip area where it is possible to do a bit of ropework . I have new gear which needs a little tweaking.
Thans in advance

If you don't mind travelling 45 minutes from Bristol, there is an indoor training facility at the Gloucestershire Cave Rescue Group depot in Cinderford. GSS and RFDCC hold training sessions there from time to time which you could probably arrange to join.

Also, CaveClimb in Cheddar used to have a small indoor training facility, but I'm not sure if this still exists since the business changed hands last year. Contact info via below link if you wanted to try, but obviously as a business, I'd expect to pay to use their facilities.

Just had an email this morning that there is a GSS SRT training session planned for an evening next week at the GCRG depot.

If you are interested @Umberto Nobile, please drop me a PM and I'll put you I touch with the organiser.

No indoor facilities as far as I'm aware as I enquired about SRT instruction recently & they don't offer it. Shame there isn't anything indoor on Mendip..

Caveclimb got rid of the unit where they had space quite a few years ago now. Wells Blue School used to have a caving/climbing wall, but I don't think that is functional anymore either
