Ingleborough summit - carved stone

Having been up on the summit more times than I can remember, I thought nothing new of interest would ever arise...

Until I stopped at this spot for no other reason than I just did. Noticed a stone at my feet and then realised it had markings on it.

Hard to make out what it says (if anything). Date or numbers at the bottom assuming I'm not looking at it upside down.

Can't find anything in Johnson's book (just a quick glance).

Any ideas?

Trig point is just off shot on the right hand side of the first image.
