Went down Lanky yesterday (Friday 2nd); just me and a mate. As I hadn't been down for ages it was a bit of a reccy so I thought I'd do a summary for those of similar unfamiliarity:
You probably all know the fixed ladders went ages ago and there's a good supply of P-Hangers on the entrance, Fall and Stake Pots. What there is also, is a rope (of dubious age and quality) with traverse lines leading to take-off at both Fall and Stake, so for anyone doing the through, you only need to be armed with a descender. The line at Fall (about 15m) takes you right down to the bottom of the block (remember traversing this with a short (10' or so) iron ladder at the end ?)
So that should be it for the through trip (If you're heading down for Stop pot rather than out thro' Manchester Bypass) the fixed iron ladder is still there at the top of Stop (or it was about 3 months ago)
