The new skin looks really nice. But there appears to be a lot of empty white space in the header area. The actual content on each page only starts half way down my monitor. Any way to reduce the height of the page header?

Try clicking the little white up arrow just to the right of the "simple machines forum" logo - this will collapse the header.

But then it hides the links for Unread Posts and New Replies which I use all the time!

No easy solution really - you could turn off avatars which might save some space... if you use Firefox there are other options that would need some messing about.

I notice that the board's own inbuilt spellchecker is now operational.

I wonder whether this will show up in future posts.  :-\
