Lots of (unprotected) 18650 cells

I have about 60 generic 18650 Li-Ion flat-top cells going if anyone has a use for them in building something. Most are 2600mAh, there are a handful of 2000s though. All are unused.

They don't feature the button-top protection circuitry so they're not suitable for caving headlamps unless you want to risk a lithium fire to the head.

Have as many or as few as you like, they're going to li-ion recycling otherwise. Can't post due to restrictions, and it'd be rude to leave a pile of Lithium cells at a hut for collection so prob best to meet in person sometime, I'm in the Western Dales area

I'll take them all. Based in Ingleton
Thanks

If anyone has any failed power tool batteries, preferably 5Ah and up, any make, I'll gladly take them and 'recycle' them.

I dismantle the failed unit, find any good cells and re-use them in my own Bosch units as they get horrendous abuse underground, fail often and cost a fortune to buy. Frankenbattery saves the day.

Darlington, and at Nenthead most Thursdays. (can hide em in the pipe stack by the Stamps House).

cheers MARK

I have a few if you’re able to collect from Tebay at any point.
