Matlock mines

Hello, first post here so apologies if it's not in the right place.
I've seen in various places that there are in close proximity to each other in Matlock a 'Jane Level', 'Stoney Way Level' and 'Ladygate Pumpway'. I live in Matlock and would like to be able to identify any evidence of these but apart from the names and a map location on another website I can't find anything else online and haven't been able to spot anything on the ground either. I guess any physical evidence could be long lost now. Does anyone have any information about these or could point me in the right direction for information please?
Thank you!

Herewith a snippet from a map from my book on the Matlock-Matlock Bath mines which will be published within a few months.

Yes, at the Matlock Bath mining museum. Am still struggling to prepare the illustrations (have passed all the maps and the text to the editor) and clear copyrights. 50 years' work. Have had enough of it.

50 years of gestation? 😳 WOW. Bet some scoundrel will make it outdated within days of if hitting the shelves 😮😁
Seriously looking forward to a good read and ponder...

It is outdated already. I was told to do definitive and have 5,000 source notes but once the text went to the editor I had to stop doing research. New stuff is turning up all the time on the Internet. Once it is published, I hope to open a thread on this website so that anyone who can add details or corrections can contribute, should they wish. Also some people might be induced to explore the stuff underground that still awaits doing. For now, I just have to force myself to tie up the loose ends and get it done. Thank you all for your interest.

Those names do crop up in a few old references, but there isn’t much visible on the ground anymore around Matlock, a lot of the small stuff has been filled, overgrown or just lost in the landscape. You sometimes only find a subtle depression or a bit of stonework if you happen to be standing right on it. If no one here has detailed info, it might be worth checking some of the older mining records or taking another wander with fresh eyes, things can be surprisingly easy to miss.

Jane Level is right next to the footpath near Knowlestone Gardens but has had a secure gate put back on last year. Ladygate....wasnt that the one below the Graveyard that had a cap and earth thrown over it as this was also right next to the path (and dont bother climbing up to look at a potential adit high up the tor, up the slope between these two as its a dead end.
