Mine exploring in the Klondike

Does anyone know of any active mining societies or exploration groups in the Klondike? I'm planning a trip there in 2024 but there is little information available. Whilst the heritage is there, it seems difficult to discover.

Isn't the Klondike an alluvial deposit? I seem to recall most of the deposits have been worked over by large opencast "gravel pits" leaving mountainous ridges of spoil. As such old workings are scarce. However infrastructure like ghost towns may still be present.
Let us know what you find, could be interesting

I suspect that a lot of places there are still owned, or worked.
"Get off my claim" is likely to be reinforced with firearms!

If you are interested, I would try to get some reliable, local information.
