More AI Generated Crap on Facebook

I must be in a bad mood today. Seeing crap like this makes me angry and clouds the publics perception of caving and diving. Skeletons everywhere and graves distubed. Facebook is entering its own death throws. Its just a place for lies and misinformation. ( even I lie about my age ) . Some of the so called war images are stupid. Just gaming videos disguised as real. Previous comments were right. Its clickbate and shockbait. Sad its proliferating and destroying any trust we see in a photographic image. Gone for a lie down ---You can copy and paste to Google and ask if an image is AI.

Looked her up. She describes herself as a " Digital Creator ". All her stuff is caving nonsense. Look carefully the divers are flying above the water.

What are the little labels on the left and right. I can't make them out. ...and yes, you are sounding a bit grumpy this morning ;) :):)

Something that is annoying me about all the AI slop is the knock on costs of SSDs and SD cards. Manufacturing capability is being slurped up by the hallucinogenic slop generators so consumer prices are now terrible. The 2TB NVME SSD I bought a few months ago for £115 is now £260 for the exact same model. A decent 128GB SD card that was under £20 is now best part of £50. Crazy.

To be fair to the second photo, many of the underwater caves in Yucatán have a halocline as they're near the coast. This can look very much like that second photo, where there is a very obveous layer, see this video:

I can be a little weird passing through it as you mix the layers together, causing some extreamly bad visibility - your eyes basically cant focus on anything.

Dont get my started on the first photo though, thats complete bollocks!

Wow that's such a well defined halocline, I've only been through 1 (Corfu), and it was a weird "cloudy" layer maybe a metre thick, like if you have a fancy glass sided kettle and it goes "cloudy"/distorted before it boils. Not at all a mirror surface like that.

On the plus side it was a degree or 2 warmer once descended into the salt (sea) than the cold fresh (cavern) water on top.

Still neither is quite like the AI BS this "creator" is churning out

If you want to walk on a carpet of skeletons, I recommend the Golynos Watercourse. (Mind you, they will be rat skeletons.)
.

Ha ha.. I searched "ai caving pictures" on Google and a top hit was this thread with the pic in question titled "More AI generated crap on.." so maybe OR you're training Google's model that this is a steaming load of cr*p 🤣

I've managed to use an AI deep zoom tool to have a closer look at the little labels, and can now confirm that they are in fact heavily redacted post-it notes, most likely connected to an investigation into somebody or something called 'Epstein', whatever that is. I have no explanation as to why they have been buried in a flooded subterranean passage with with a load of human skeletons. I had always thought that sort of thing was hidden away in closets.
