I blame the Facebork idiots publicly posting pics of Paris (approx 1.4 million human remains) for fueling that sort of nonsense. Whereas the cataphiles themselves had been discrete.

Just used some super powerful experimental internet software tool (provided by Yorkshire internet tech giants B4RN, which is called 'A-up', rather than AI), and the small labels by the skeletons say 'Bury these Epstein problems with the other skeletons, where nobody can find them'.What are the little labels on the left and right. I can't make them out.
I agree. Lots of people think that this UFO I saw recently is AI generated it's so convincing. It was definitely real.there's still space for non AI generated too:
But it is doing harm. Some people are still believing every "photograph" they see, others are so shocked by the realism of some AI that they're not believing anything. Both groups are being either misinformed or not informed, and that affects their decision making and ultimately the foundations of democracy. As a way to make a living its relatively harmless. Its much less anti social than the makers of vapes. the only way is Essex and nuclear weapons.
Its not doing me any harm so let em get on with it
It's also stealing the creativity and hard work of artists. There's a friend of mine (and caver) who does incredibly detailed artwork, often of pets, with every hair drawn by hand. Now reproducible at will with no effort. But it is doing harm.
I only ever look at it now if someone links to it and I decide the linked information is worth it. Once looked at, I get out again and don't get sucked in.You know, there's an argument for never using Facebook?
Interesting use of the word "their". Obviously not including you, just other more stupid people? But it is doing harm. I can't think of a different word to use to refer to an attribute of two groups of people. Even if the writer is in one of the groups, "our" wouldn't be correct.Interesting use of the word "their".
I'm certain people are using it frequently without knowing, the latest couple of generations of iPhone often removes camera flash red eye automatically (I'm too cheap to own one, but the Lidar capability is intriguing).I did see an article in the Daily Mail today. Eddie Dalton got to number 2 in the official UK singles chart. Now it seems that Eddie Dalton is an AI construct and not a real person after all. Crusty Records have made up other AI- generated artists as well is Mr Dalton. To bring things back to cave related I wondered about editing. Perhaps unwittingly we are using AI in our photos after all. Certainly my monochrome to colour editor does and very realistically though it gets the bus colours wrong. Without in any way meaning this as a criticism I looked at the Hall of Thirteen image coming on the Descent cover. Now I dont know what happens in house nor how the image was edited as I presume it must be. Does The Hall of Thirteen really look like this ? Certainly not as you see it by caving light. Then again does it really matter anyway ? I have noticed that Wookey Hole show cave achieves everything by well placed coloured lighting. Without that it would be very drab indeed. Sorry to harp on but I find the whole AI thing fascinating. Maybe we all live in the Matrix and nothing is real anyway.

I think of myself as pretty average, certainly not more informed or better than others.
Hall of Thirteen looked like that 40 years ago when I took this rather less well lit shot.I did see an article in the Daily Mail today. Eddie Dalton got to number 2 in the official UK singles chart.
