John Hurr worked at Wellington as a senior manager throughout its existence and his memories help to explain the optimism and disappointment of this late chapter in the Cornish mining story.

A very worthy read, and written like a day to day work book documenting the project from its start to its closure.
I was privileged to have read a draft copy a year or so before publication and there have been many additions to it since.
John Hurr has done an excellent job here
