The BGS / MRA have digitised a load of their mine plans, and I have recently tried downloading them and georeferencing them so that I can name previously unknown (to me) surface features such as shafts and pits.
I've done a fair few of them now, and I thought they might be of interest to others, so I've put them online: aricooperdavis.github.io/plans
I'm very happy to take requests if anyone would like one digitising!
