Mystery Photo - (Not The) Source De L'Ain

I've recently been going through several decades worth of snaps, and found this one from around 1995. It was taken in England or Wales, probably in the Dales somewhere. Where is this, and which cave is it? Is the sign still there today? Hoping for enlightenment on this as I have no idea!

Is there a back story to this that could be shared without incriminating the mischievous (and well-travelled) pranksters?

It looks like Aquaflash Pot, between Joint Hole and Chapman's Rising, in Chapel-le-Dale (in the Dales). But if so, I don't recall ever seeing that sign there.

Thanks @Pitlamp - that makes sense, I have a faint recollection now of camping at the Hill Inn and taking a walk down Chapel-le-Dale alongside the beck.
